Come winter woman dance

by Ruth Dormandy

winter danceCome winter woman dance
In the birthday season fully shine
Ask the year for another colour
Dream and spin every month
Turn about through day and night
Create with dark or light
Remember Her beneath the cycle
She who Is keeps me strong
I sing to her always

Ruth Dormandy

Ruth writes: I have lived in London most of my life, loving the connection to the rich variety of people and places that it offers. I currently work as a pastoral psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer and have worked in a number of community settings. I recognise Goddess as a vital, spiritual thread throughout my life having expression through my passion for belly-dancing, working therapeutically with images, writing poetry and the creative flow which seems to infuse much of my activity. My Goddessing journey has led me to explore the Divine Feminine within Christianity and work towards more explicit inclusion and balance within this context.
